Starting this February join Highrock Online's Theology Lab for an examination of Asian American theology. How can our church communities learn a more holistic way of discipleship through the testimonies and faith expressions of Asian American Christians? We're excited to host Chi-Ming Chien, co-founder and principal of Dayspring Partners (San Francisco), and Professor Bo Karen Lee of Princeton Seminary. Chi-Ming will speak about leveraging privilege and upward/downward mobility in Asian American contexts. Prof. Lee will address how spiritual practices can be used for healing racial trauma.
Organizers include Dr. David Chao of the Center for Asian American Christianity at Princeton Seminary, Pastor Kat Hampson of Highrock Brookline, and Scott Rice, Resident Theologian of Highrock Online.
As always, in keeping with Theology Lab's motto, no background in theology is needed. Just curiosity. All are welcome to join the discussion and learn something new together.
Sessions
The Winter/Spring 2022 Asian American Theology Lab will meet on three Sunday evenings (February 6th, March 13th, April 3rd) from 8:00-9:30pm ET over Zoom.
