Welcome to the Lent Family Box - A Family Discipleship Experience! We are excited to partner with you on the journey of raising a Jesus-loving generation during this season of Lent leading up to Easter Sunday. The Lent Family Box includes activities for kids (preschool through Middle School) that track with the Kidsrock at Home or Middle School Youth Group curriculum, as well as special Lent and Easter family activities. The Lent Family Box begins on Sunday, February 21st as the start of “Week One.” In order to prepare well for the season, check out the home supplies list to make sure you have everything you need to participate fully in all of the suggested activities. Finally, remind your kiddos to keep track of their progress in completing the Lent Family Box activities on their Challenge Card.

Lent BINGO!

Lent is a season in the church calendar where Christians take time to focus on Jesus by “letting go” and “laying hold”. Letting go of various comforts like free time, money, food, or technology allows us to turn our attention away from ourselves and creates time and space to lay hold of opportunities to delight ourselves in God and others. 

The Lent BINGO cards we’ve created have a mix of ways to let go and lay hold. Our challenge to each kid/student participating is to try and get at least one BINGO every week of LENT (which is about 6 weeks).  Each time you get a BINGO, it's up to the whole family to come up with a way to celebrate! Copies of the Early Childhood or Elementary/Middle School BINGO cards are included inside your box.

Supply List

While many supplies are provided in the Lent Family Box there are some items not provided, such as crayons, markers, scissors, and glue. If you have a Lent Family Box, check out this Home Supplies list to be prepared for the suggested activities. If you did not purchase a Lent Box but would like to try to recreate some of the activities on your own, you can find an exhaustive supply list here.
